Our lawyers have a track record of successful outcomes in the Employment Courts.
For example, in 2005, Stuart Dalzell successfully defended Airways Corporation of New Zealand against unjustified dismissal claims brought by an air traffic controller. The claim involved a three day hearing in the Employment Relations Authority, and an appeal lasting six days in the Employment Court, plus an application for interim reinstatement.
All claims were dismissed, and Airways were awarded some $29,000 in costs.
Stuart has also secured successful outcomes in a range of interim reinstatement and personal grievance claims, including issues of unjustified dismissal/disadvantage, constructive dismissal, redundancy, misconduct, poor performance and medical incapacity.
