Dan Parker established the firm in 2001.
Admitted in September 1991, Dan has over 23 years' litigation experience.
Dan is an experienced advocate with a track record of very successful outcomes in the District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Specialist Tribunals.
Dan is also a very experienced negotiator and participant in mediations.
Dan and his team have been at the forefront of leaky building litigation since 2001, representing over 500 multi-unit and stand alone leaky building owners. The team has also acted for developers, builders, materials suppliers, engineers and others involved in these disputes.
Dan has extensive insurance, commercial litigation, property litigation and defamation experience.
Dan takes seriously the responsibility of acting for parties in contentious dispute situations.

Outside work Dan enjoys time with his family. Dan is a keen golfer and is currently on the committee of the Royal Wellington Golf Club.
Acted for the successful owners of a four townhouse property in Body Corporate 90247 v Wellington City Council  NZHC 295 (Ronald Young J). The owners were awarded $1.9 million in damages (plus costs) with the court finding the Council negligent in its inspection processes.
Acted for the claimants in a successful appeal from the decision of the Weathertight Homes Tribunal restoring 40 units to a large multi-unit leaky building claim. This matter is still proceeding.
Successful defence of a $10 million negligence claim following a warehouse fire. Part way through a lengthy hearing, the plaintiffs decided to proceed no further against our client.
Successful claim against a solicitor in negligence and for breach of fiduciary duty with one of New Zealand's highest general damages awards.
