Jackie graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2008 and was admitted to the bar in September 2008. She was awarded the Canterbury Women’s Legal Association Scholarship Prize for 2007.
She practices in the area of civil and commercial litigation and dispute resolution and appears regularly in the courts as well as at mediations and Judicial
Jackie has experience in a range of civil and commercial litigation including negligence, property and construction disputes, shareholder disputes, insolvency and insurance. She has extensive experience in defective building claims including several large multi-unit complex claims.
She has acted for a range of clients including landlords, home-owners, banks, insurers and local authorities. She also has international experience having spent two years in London where she worked on a regulatory review at HSBC Bank.
She enjoys working with clients to resolve difficult issues and achieve results whether she is working on a large and complex dispute or a smaller matter.
