Nikola Lowry

Nikola completed an LLB(Hons) at Lancaster University, England in 2005, and the Legal Practice Course at the Inns of Court, London, England in 2006. At the end of 2006 she returned to New Zealand where she worked for Russell McVeagh until December 2009. She then completed the conversion exams and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2009. She has worked at Parker & Associates as a solicitor since January 2010.
Since working at Parker & Associates, Nikola has been involved in construction disputes, including leaky building claims involving both multi unit and single dwelling houses in the Weathertight Homes Tribunal and High Court. She has also worked on insurance matters, arson cases, contract interpretation and farm sales cases.
Commercial Litigation
Nikola has experience in commercial litigation in both the District and High Courts and Supreme Court and alternative dispute resolution (arbitration and mediation).
She has advised clients on a broad range of complex commercial disputes, with particular experience in contract law disputes in the oil and gas industry. In addition, Nikola has provided advice on Official Information Act requests and managed large scale discoveries.
